WAYS to WEAR

What to wear this Valentine’s Day

Now that we can come out of January hibernation, we’re looking to Valentine’s for our next night out (or in). We’ve created a look for every possible situation: date night, the big Galentine’s night out and a look for the JOMO (joy of missing out) crowd, happiest on the sofa with a fresh series lined up.

SHOP THE EDIT

As if we need Valentine’s as an excuse for some quality time in our favourite bar or restaurant. We’re just here to make the most of the evening and our looks. It might be the Wuthering Heights effect, but if love is in the air, a silky-feel skirt or top  with lace trims is the perfect way to tap into the delicate details trend. Matching gold tones on your heels and accessories easily elevate your look, and as it’s still February, pare your outfit back with an oversized funnel-neck jacket for an outfit they won’t forget.

Sometimes, Valentine’s is about a different kind of quality time, either with your No1, or simply by yourself. If you want to become one with the sofa and your favourite film, why not treat yourself to a new loungewear set for the occasion? Start with a super-soft co-ord and pair with the warmest, comfiest slippers we think we’ve ever seen. Favourite takeaway unfortunately not included.

If you’re celebrating with friends instead (we’re thinking a brunch that might turn into afters?), we suggest comfy knits with tailored skirts, or your fave jeans . Add some chic heels and a lace top underneath, just in case the club is calling after your day plans. Happy Valentine’s!
