Ways to Wear

What to Wear with Your Jeans

by Steve Cook, Senior Content Manager

It's time to start rethinking what to wear with your jeans as the days start to get cooler. While your summer T-shirt may still cut it under a check shirt for now, come autumn it's time to invest in some winter key pieces.

These are our top five suggestions what to wear with your jeans this season.

1. A Denim Jacket and a Check Shirt

Double denim might still make you wince, but trust us it’s the right thing to do. A borg-lined denim jacket will work with any colour jeans in your wardrobe. For maximum effect we suggest wearing it with blue jeans and a checked shirt.

2. A Button-Down Shirt

A corduroy button-down can double up as a casual or smart shirt. Wear it open over a T-shirt with blue jeans for dressed down days or buttoned up for a smarter look.

3. A Puffer and a Graphic Tee

Shorter days and cooler temperatures are just around the corner, so it's time to invest in a puffer jacket (we love it in teal) and team it with a graphic tee of choice and chunky trainers.

4. A Stripy Jumper

A stripy jumper is the perfect laidback weekend look. Add a pair of combat boots and you all set for a long autumn walk or a weekend away.

5. A Biker Jacket and a Crew Neck Jumper

A biker jacket should be your trusted throw-on autumn jacket – and ours is completely animal free. Wear it for work over a shirt, at weekends over chunky knits and to the pub with a classic crew neck jumper.
