The Best Loungewear Looks You’ll Actually Want to Wear Out

by Hannah Rose, Copywriter

The most important lesson of 2020 so far: loungewear is the best thing ever. If you’re like us, and you’ve spent approximately 98% of the year in your best loungewear, then you’ll have come to realise just how important lounge outfits really are. Our best loungewear is now up there with our PJs, no joke. Like, we always knew we loved comfy lounge clothes…but staying at home officially confirmed it. Allowing us to get dressed with zero effort, look good without even trying, and stay comfy all at the same time… what’s not to love about loungewear outfits?!

The second most important lesson of 2020: our best loungewear isn’t just for the sofa. Crazy, huh? Gone are the days of just wearing cute lounge outfits inside the comfort of your own home, now it’s all about actually wearing your best loungewear out. So, for those of you who have ever sat and wondered ‘can you wear loungewear outside?’, the answer is 100% yes. Of course you can. Whether that’s for going for walks or putting on your best loungewear sets for a drink or three, loungewear has become an outfit in its own right. And when we say loungewear outfits, we’re no longer just talking about sweats and hoodies...

Now you’re probably thinking: well, what is loungewear, then? It’s pretty much anything that’s comfy, easy and looks seriously cool, which is why it works for so many occasions. We’re talking about those pieces that are perfect for chilling in yet equally as perfect for the ‘gram.
