Rochelle's Denim Style Icons

by Emma Menteath, Editorial Lead

We all remember when Britney and Justin arrived in head-to-toe denim to the 2001 American Music Awards, or when Marky Mark caused a stir in his controversial 1995 Calvin Klein campaign. It’s a fact: pop and fashion history are full of iconic jean moments.
We all have our personal favourites. But, this time, we wanted to find out who’s topping our brand ambassador’s denim dream list. Here are the 4 names giving Rochelle Humes the most denim inspiration:

Princess Diana

Princess Di was a true style icon, particularly when it came to denim. Whenever I think of her, I picture her in a pair of classic clean-cut jeans paired with a simple shirt or a blazer.

Destiny’s Child

Whether attending a red-carpet event, or busting out their moves in one of their powerful music videos, there’s no denying the Destiny’s Child trio ruled the world and the denim co-ord trend from 1999 to 2004.

Kendall Jenner

If Instagram is anything to go by, Kendall Jenner is a true queen of denim with her signature girl-next-door style. Not to mention the countless denim campaigns she’s already got under her belt.

Naomi Campbell

Many of us picture Naomi in a spaghetti strap dress through the ’90s alongside Kate Moss. However, this supermodel donned the high-waist mom jean, as well as the slim legged flare, on countless occasions, which makes her one of my denim icons through the ’90s.
