3 Looks for A Girls-Only Staycay

It’s the summer of staycations. A time for long-awaited catch-ups, laughing until you cry and exploring exciting places with the people you zoom-ed through 2020 with. We want fun times, we want sunshine (hopefully) and we want to make the memories we’ve been dreaming of with the friends we’ve missed so much.

So, get those plans in place, gather the girls and make reservations because you’ve got a wardrobe to prepare. And that girls, takes time. You’ll need staycay-ready outfits that will take you from sunbathing to sightseeing, ice-creams to cocktails, dinners to dancing and every plan in between. Before you start panicking, we’ll let you in on a secret…we’ve got all your staycation styles sorted, no matter what you’ve got planned.

Here's the 3 outfits you’ll be dying to whip out of your unnecessarily-overpacked suitcase as soon as you’ve checked in…

1. City Escape

Sightseeing essentials: retro sunnies, a tote bag and comfy sandals. And maybe a map. Throw in a pair of 90s-inspired jeans, a crop top and an easy-to-take-off-if-the-sun-comes-out shirt and you’ve got yourself the perfect outfit for a city escape, and one you can recycle at home too.

Comfortable enough for exploring yet cute enough for pictures, this look ticks all the boxes.

2. Beach Break

We can’t wait to dip our toes in the sand, splash in the sea and for the smell of sun cream to fill the air. For now, we’ll settle with planning the outfit.

Floaty gingham dresses in pretty pastels were made for sunny getaways. After all, you need something easy to fling on over your swimsuit after a sunbathing session. Take it into the evening with the addition of gold jewellery and a layer of lipstick. Your camera roll will love this.

3. Country Getaway

Picture this: fresh countryside air, long gossip-filled walks and regular pub stops in the cutest outfits. Cue this denim playsuit, shoulder bag and trainers ensemble. The only way to make it look even better would be with a 90s bucket hat, cool sunnies and chunky hoops.

It’s the looks-like-you-made-an-effort-without-making-an-effort outfit that’s perfect for those girly getaways.
